adding colour too soon isn’t wise. It takes so much time to redraw things that the animation becomes stagnant or takes double the time.

A great process for animating is to block things out roughly and add detail later. Focus on key poses, shapes and ideas! Use an audio clip and a reference video to give the project structure.

This process is just much faster and has better results.
